Unfortunately, we can’t embed a real game here. However, imagine a diagram of the human body, with arrows pointing to various muscles. Your task would be to identify each muscle correctly. Let’s move on to the answers!
Muscle Labeling Game Answers
Here are the answers to the Muscle Labeling Game (imaginary, of course!). Let’s start with some common upper body muscles. The biceps brachii is the prominent muscle on the front of your upper arm, responsible for flexing the elbow and supinating the forearm. On the back of the upper arm, we have the triceps brachii, which extends the elbow. Moving to the shoulder, the deltoid is a large, rounded muscle that covers the shoulder joint and is important for arm abduction, flexion, and extension. The pectoralis major is the large chest muscle, responsible for adducting, flexing, and internally rotating the arm. Finally, the latissimus dorsi is a broad, flat muscle covering the lower back, responsible for adduction, extension, and internal rotation of the arm.
Now let’s consider some lower body muscles. The quadriceps femoris, located on the front of the thigh, is a group of four muscles (rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, and vastus intermedius) that extend the knee. On the back of the thigh, we have the hamstrings, another group of muscles (biceps femoris, semitendinosus, and semimembranosus) that flex the knee and extend the hip. The gluteus maximus is the largest muscle in the buttocks and is responsible for hip extension and external rotation. The gastrocnemius is the prominent calf muscle, responsible for plantarflexing the foot (pointing your toes). The tibialis anterior is located on the front of the lower leg and dorsiflexes the foot (lifting your toes).
